I found
A foul friend
A fair enemy
When…
I become
The eyes
And the object
They see
Hating and hated
All at the same time
In love
I saw
A glowing Sun
A parched earth
When…
I felt
The rays
Showing me path
And snatching away
The liquid life from me
All at the same time
Love
I guess
Is playing tricks
On a tired brain
And an even tired soul!
