Forgiveness Sought and Given!

He was ruthless

As he plucked the flower

With his rough hands

Of desperation and urgency

He was devouring

As he crushed the flower

Under the weight

Of his selfishness

He was unforgiving

As he captured the flower

In his grip

Of his darkened need

He was sorry afterwards

As he wept for what he did to the flower

In his love and demand

Of body and mind

All was forgiven then!
